Today is the Feast Day of the Holy Rosary and a very powerful day to mention on the show today as Father Koys points out, with the need to pray the Rosary for the entire world. He also shares how many felt with President Trump being diagnosed with Covid-19 and being released home recently, possibly putting others in danger and Father Koys shares his take on this. He also points out with this, it reflects on all the rules that have been enforced with the pandemic and a need for prudence today. The main bulk of the show, Father Koys talks about Pope Francis’s recent letter, Fratelli Tutti, translated as Human Frailty and his opinion on it and its effect on the world.

On a different subject, for the first half of the show, Mary is joined by Mary Louis Hensgebaugh, founder of the Chasity Education Initiative and the discussion is on an upcoming benefit tomorrow night. Mary Louis also talks about the Chasity Education Initiative, in terms of its creation, formation, and the work it has done. For the second half of the show, Mary is joined by Tyler Rowley, author of the new book: Because of Our Fathers published by Ignatius Press. Mary discusses with Tyler of how and what influenced and inspired him to write this book. Tyler also talks about some of the essays he used when writing the book and how it affected him, in a good way. Despite all that, they are feeling pretty good and the main focus of discussion is talking about the past readings from Sunday and also talking about sacrifice and the mass itself and remind everyone about the sacrifice being an important part of the mass and also the importance of the mass as a whole. Father Anthony also talks about himself for a bit, in terms of all that he has been doing and masses conducted recently, and how he feels about the recent readings and speaks of the watchman.

Flying solo at the start of the show, Father Anthony joins us loyal listeners and Tony arrives after the start of the show. The Two Tony’s discuss how it has been a crazy week, with so many meetings with the Archdiocese and the Church with lots of things going on and work to do. And after praying the Angelus, the Two Tony’s share how many parishes are closing or merging in these times, and how many people aren’t going to practice their faith and prayer. From this, the Archdiocese is gathering information on all that, resulting in many changes and new things. This brings to mind how everyone’s faith will be affected and how Churches and Parishes were large in the past, in terms of people going and praying, as compared to today. Father Anthony shares some of the statistics that were found by the Archdiocese and that he discussed in meetings and he speaks on how renewing the faith is what the Archdiocese is going to be watching.

Due to Father Koys's younger brother passing away recently, he is on his way to Florida for the funeral. All of us at Winds of Change send our thoughts, prayers, and condolences for him and his family and for their loss. So, for the re-air today, it is one of his most popular shows from September 9th. Father Koys returns loyal listeners after being away for a couple of weeks. His focus today is to talk more about the truth surrounding what is happening around us, with the current dilemma the world is facing too. He offers a prayer for all those who are sick with, as well as for the entire world going through Covid-19. After this, Father Koys goes further into discussing all those who have said different things during this time, providing more insights and trying to bring positive feelings and words of comfort and hope to all of us. The return of the Two Tony’s this week, after Father Anthony was in Rochester and he’s doing very well and all healthy. Tony feels a little unsure of things, due to lots going on within not only the nation, but the world and that is related to what they discuss, mainly how Saint Stanislaus School will be opening soon. This brings to mind the importance of prayer and the need for prayer in this world and without it, there is no life and nothing. From this, Father Anthony says that with prayer, it helps us hear God speaking to us, as well as Saints. The Two Tony’s reflect on what it was like before and after the lockdown when the Pandemic started, as well as reflect on the results that the Pandemic has had on the entire world. The Two Tony’s also reflect on the hostility going on, not just the recent riots and looting, but also hostility to God.

Father Anthony shares with us some of the heresy within the church and look at what broke the heresy at times in history. Based on some more readings, Father Anthony brings up the question of what time we are in, not only in terms of what is going on in the world with the pandemic, but also within the church. This also allows us to live and to bring to mind the saying of putting your trust in Jesus in order to help us get through such tough times.
