Episode # 5500 – Father Koys On The Appeals And Effects Of The Pandemic

Father Koys is back and he is feeling good, but he’s getting tired of all the Covid-19 information and the situation, like millions around the world.  However, he reminds us all to be vigilant and remain faithful in these rough times.  He focuses on the hope that has arisen with scientists and medical experts getting closer to a vaccine and that they have learned more about the virus.  He reviews some of the appeals from those in the church and medical community who offer appeals in terms of the Pandemic, about the effects it has had on people, how the media has talked about it, and some of the good points include the therapies that have been suggested and prescribed and hope for the vaccine soon and put our fears to rest.       

Episode # 5499 - The Two Tony’s On The Miracle Of The Sun

Tuesday with the Two Tony’s again loyal listeners and again, it feels like they have been gone a long time.  Today, they discuss not only how Halloween is approaching, as indicated by Producer Nick’s traditional pumpkin hat, but how Autumn is in the air and the leaves are turning and wind is picking up, even though the weather outside has been warm on some days.  However, after talking about a two birds attacking each other, this brings to mind talking about the recent Pet Blessing Father Anthony held, with many fun and cute pets and a good turnout.  After the prayer for the world and the upcoming election, on this day in 1917, there was a Miracle of the Sun and Father Anthony talks about that and how visiting is the skull cap of Pope John Paul the Second and how a lot of people are getting really stressed and tired of all the news going on with Covid-19.  Once again, this brings to mind our relationship with God and our faith toward Him, in how if we lose our faith, many things such as the nation, family, and other factors in life, may collapse, which in turn once again expresses the need to pray the Rosary.

TGIF everyone and the Two Tony’s start off on a good note, talking about the seasons, with how the weather in Chicago was cold, then spring like and back to cold and chilly.  With that in mind, they discuss the recent government rules in how the city of Chicago and the state has put up more rules and a stay at home advisory coming up with Thanksgiving and Christmas coming.  With the month of November here, the Two Tony’s discuss some of the Gospel Readings and those who are considered foolish, bringing to mind discussing the Holy Spirit and the Spirit of God and our relationship with Him, turning back to yesterday’s discussion, with the Two Tony’s talking about the reality we are in and how the Lord prepares us for things and if He does, how?  Especially with the way things are in the world and Father Anthony goes back to The Lord of the Rings to help.

TGIAF with the Two Tony’s and the good news is that Tony tested and came back negative with the Covid-19 testing and that is good news.  Tony talks about how that went and how Producer Nick seemed to be the good luck charm for him, concerned for him and how nervous Tony was waiting for the results.  With the Pandemic in mind, the Two Tony’s pray for the world and talk about Peter talking to Jesus Christ and before he was going to be crucified.  After the first break and the prayer, the Two Tony’s focus on the Ladder of Devine Graces Father Anthony has seen, the 10 steps to Perfection.  This relates to what is going on and to keep our faith as well.

Lee’s speech on the cause.

Episode # 5493 – Monday With The Two Tony’s

It’s Monday and with the Two Tony’s today loyal listeners.  A change of pace today with Father Anthony and Tony swapping with Mary FioRito and she’ll be on Tuesday.  Everyone is excited for the return of Tony, who has been away for training at work.  Today, the Two Tony’s discuss all the trainings and retreats on Zoom and online for the Two Tony’s, as well as continuing on where Father Anthony was last week, talking about the battle we are in, not just with Covid-19, but the Spiritual Battle he’s talked about, bringing up the media and what is talked about.  This continues where Father Anthony was last week too, with looking with an objective point of view on things.

TGIF everyone and, once again flying solo, Father Anthony is back with us.  This time, he tries not to go back to what he was discussing yesterday, but it’s hard not to and he reminds us again to take an objective view of things going on in America, as well as the world.  On a different and good note, Father Anthony is very excited with the results again of the Children’s Mass this morning and this brings to mind the children and their teachers at Saint Stanislaus School have been wearing masks and wearing them all day too to be safe.  After the first break, Producer Armand joins in with Father Anthony to discuss more on looking at things from an objective point of view, which takes a political turn.      

Episode # 5491 – The Reality Of The Stress Of 2020

Father Anthony is here loyal listeners and he encourages strength, courage, and joy during this very stressful, difficult time.  He understands how the Pandemic and even the election has affected so many people, for he sees people stressed out from all this, and he tries to bring words of comfort for all of us exposed too so much stress that they feel depressed and powerless.  He’s also saying to try to see things from an objective point of view, especially in these last 4 years.  He also expresses the need again for what he talked about on Tuesday, that Jesus said we’ll have troubles, but take courage and He will help us get through them and Father Anthony really voices on this today, seriously going on to encourage everyone to keep their faith and faith in God and provide a positive feeling.
