Thursday and the Two Tony’s are reunited today and they reflect on all that has happened in the last few days this week. They also reflect on the signs of the times, once again on the topic of social media and how the generations of today use it and encounter it, leading to lots of differences in relationships with others. This brings to mind our conscience that (without thinking of Disney) guide us as well as God to guide us when dealing with all the stress and joy that come in life and how He won’t abandon us and He will help us in our troubles.

Today's Monday with Mary and Lauretta features a very special guest: author Matt Rosenberg. The son of the late radio show (Extension 720) host Milt Rosenberg, Matt joins Mary and Lauretta to discuss his new book, "What's Next Chicago? Notes of a Pissed-Off Native Son." In a straightforward, honest style reminiscent of his father's approach to tackling sensitive issues, Matt lays out his case for the failure of the city's institutions to care for and empower its citizens and the resulting disintegration of the city's fabric, increased crime, and falling population as residents flee for safer and better-run cities. TGIAF with the Two Tony’s once again this week. For one thing, the Two Tony’s share their thoughts, prayers, and sorrow for the terrible school shooting tragedy in Texas this week, with 19 kids and 2 teachers killed. Father Anthony raises the point of pure evil is around us and we have to maintain the faith and fight the good fight. They reflect on other tragic school shootings and how amidst all these, they talk about how this existence and reality of pure evil can be stopped or prevented in the future. With this personification of pure evil present, Father Anthony reminds us we need Gods help in these matters as well and the need for salvation, or suffer the Wrath of God.

Tuesday with the Two Tony’s once again loyal listeners and today they discuss, based on the words said by Gandalf to Frodo in The Lord of the Rings, how we live in and wish we didn't have to face very difficult and troubled times, but despite that, we have to make due with the time we have and enjoy moments in our lives. They also look at the dangers surrounding many of the things that the Devil might bring upon us, recalling the words from Paul Harvey. The Two Tony’s remind us about how the words and faith in God and Jesus will help us and allow us to receive their help and remain faithful.
