Father Koys is back with us and he has much to discuss. For one thing, how the world is reaching to getting out of the pandemic, with how several areas of Chicago and Illinois, as well as other states, have lifted the mask mandates due to cases and hospitalizations going down, but he reminds us that there are some who are still nervous and to be respectful to their choice of keeping the mask on for the time being. He also discusses the recent zoom meeting Pope Francis had with students from Loyola University. From this, it reflects on all that is going on in the world, not just the Pandemic and the war in Ukraine.

Tuesday with the Two Tony’s loyal listeners. Today, they discuss some of the articles from the National Catholic Register that aim at the Consecration of Ukraine and Russia last week and how some may feel it might lead to more problems instead of a more peaceful solution. This also raises up more on the consecration itself, as well as others such as the consecration of souls and leading sinners to repentance and forgiveness. Another, is that this brings to mind once again our faith in God and if we will accept Him in our lives and His help and the message of Fatima.

Happy Monday everyone and because it is Spring Break for lots of students and school children this week, Mary is with her family and Lauretta is flying solo today. However, she is thrilled and excited to have on with her on the show as her guest: Kelly Walquist, founder of the organization WINE: Women in the New Evangelization. Kelly shares with Lauretta and everyone the history and purpose of WINE, as well as all the work it has conducted and done to help out so many and to expand the love of the Holy Trinity of God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit. TGIF once again everyone and after coming from a funeral, Father Anthony reminds us that the Consecration of Ukraine and Russia is happening (at the time of the show when it was live) and after the opening prayer, which is the actual prayer for the consecration, the Two Tony’s discuss the importance of this and what its purpose is and what it means for the war in Ukraine, especially as a means to lead to the end of the war and that a peaceful solution be found to resolve this conflict. All of us at Winds of Change offer our thoughts and prayers for Ukraine and that with the Consecration today, that a peaceful solution be reached.

After going through confessions this morning, Father Anthony is drained and along with Tony, they discuss some of the recent readings Father came across, and how they relate to the ongoing turmoil within the world, allowing us to remember that God is with us and He will help us. This raises up opinions on what is told to us, as well as those in our society that can confuse us or question our politicians, beliefs, news, and other aspects. This leads Father Anthony to remind us to take God seriously and to have Him in our lives and to continue to have faith in Him. The Two Tony’s share on what is true in the world and what might not be in terms of beliefs and who to believe when we are told things, particularly in the media.

To do that on the show today, he talks about the upcoming consecration of Ukraine and Russia in hopes that it will lead to a peaceful solution for the war in Ukraine. He also offers important prayers for this and all those who are suffering in the war in Ukraine. TGIF loyal listeners and Lauretta Froelich is filling in for Father Anthony as he returns from Rochester. Today, Lauretta is very happy and excited to have on as a guest, Pastor and Commissioner Herman Martir, from the President’s Advisory on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, who has done work under Presidents Trump and now Biden. He explains how long he’s been a pastor, as well as a commissioner, and all the work that he has done to help out so many people for various ethnic groups. He also offers his skills as a pastor to provide words of encouragement and hope to all that are struggling and going through stressful times, especially the war in Ukraine.
