Today Father and the group discuss the beauty of the Blue Mass that took place this past Sunday, shedding light on the humility that they witnessed in the first responders present. There is the need to remember the work these people do and to recall that outside of their jobs they are you and me, just people with families and the challenges of life. After prayer father shares the Liturgy of the word opening up with the battle waged against Israel, leading to a discussion on current day battles we face and the reminder for the need for fidelity to God.

Lauretta hosts the program today. She welcomes the smells of turkey roasting looking forward to discussing all things grateful and all things Thanksgiving. Before that she does provides an update regarding the ongoing persecution of Christians in Nigeria reiterating how grateful she is to be able to practice her faith freely. She focuses the remainder of the show on remaining thankful, being grateful as she talks the Thanksgiving Holiday and its historical significance in the roots of Thanksgiving to God.

Today he welcomes back Alice Babij (pronounced Bobby) of the St Nicholas Ukrainian Cathedral. She joins Father to enlighten us about St Pier Giorgio Frassati, recently canonized in September 2025. She reads from the book “365 Meditations on the Life of St. Pier Giorgio Frassati”, encouraging us to get the book as it shows how one can live a saintly life in daily living. Welcome to a Brain Wrinkling Wednesday with Fr. Tom Koys. Today Father Koys welcomes his guest Martin Doorhy, Attorney, Professor and Colonel in the United States Airforce (Reserves). Martin is well versed in Constitutional Law, History and World Wars. Together, they delve into the history and role of the Catholic church around several key wars, especially World War I and World War II. They chat about the relationships between the church and the state across various wars. They also touch on the Catholic church and the role and actions of Pope Pius XII during World War II.

Talking about funerals, as they were in the past, leads them to step back in time and chat about how things were in the past while acknowledging that even then God was demanding. Father Anthony points out that the greatest threat to us, the church, and the future of our humanity is our unwillingness to embrace the discipline of our faith. He calls us to be humble and accept our cross and carry it as we honor the Commandments.

Lauretta hosts the program today. Lauretta shares detail of the Caritas in Veritate Papal Award Ceremony in DC this past weekend. She then discusses the ongoing persecution of Christian Nigerians. Lauretta reminds the prayer warriors to pray and fast for them. During the second half of the show, Lauretta welcomes her guest, Bob Gilligan the Executive Director of the Catholic conference of Illinois. They discuss the organizations mission to uphold the Catholic Social Teaching by advocating for favorable state legislation and regulatory policies. Together they discuss the Assisted Physician Assisted Suicide Bill that passed in Illinois. To stay informed regarding issues affecting the Church and her mission at both the state and federal level. Today they chat about the need for Catholics to recognize and accept their role in the church beyond attending mass as we are responsible for our church. While Father states that he does not like speaking of money, but we definitely need proper donations to maintain the church, stressing how thankful he is for the generous donors that contribute to the beauty of our church. After the first break Father prays for the deceased as we are in the month of November. Then the group contemplates the question: Can we pray for the Devil? Father ends the show with details and impact of the works of St Frances Xavier Cabrini as today is her feast day.
