Fr. Anthony, Tony, and Christina talk about the goings on, people in the Parish, and prayer.  Fr. Anthony leads us in much needed daily prayer and in prayer for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis as well as for the College of Cardinals and the Conclave.  On the show today, Father Anthony focuses on letters of the past that were written to Cardinals in regards to the upcoming Conclave of their times.  Interestingly enough, the letters could have been written to our Cardinals today, just in a different vernacular, for they definitely apply.  Fr. Anthony along with Christina and Tony chat about this and share their thoughts. Father reminds us that Ms. Barbara Labotka, Principal of Saint Stanislaus Kotska Academy (Pre-School to 8^th Grade) will join us on the show tomorrow to discuss the school and its programming.  Join us and invite others who have school aged children to join us to learn about the programming.

Father Anthony leads us in daily prayer as well as offering prayers for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis as well as for the College of Cardinals and the Conclave.  The Conclave to select the 267^Th Successor to the Chair of Peter is set to begin on May 7^th.  Today, Father Anthony focuses on reading and unpacking many Quotes offered by Jesus and the Saints.  He discusses their beauty and significance and calls on us to read these and see the beauty as a way to spend more time with our Father.  Father Anthony mentions that Ms. Barbara Labotka, Principal of Saint Stanislaus Kotska Academy (Pre-School to 8^th Grade) will join us on Friday to discuss the school and its programming.

Anthony, Tony, and Cristina talk about the goings on, people in the Parish, and prayer.  Father Anthony shares just how busy and active things are at the parish pointing out that things do not slow down in the lead into Divine Mercy Sunday or afterward.  Father leads us in prayer for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis.  Father Anthony discusses the Church, the Office of the Papacy and our great story.  He focuses on Peter as the rock of the church as we ready to lay Pope Francis to rest and then look onward to the Conclave for the selection of the new Pope.  Father shares details regarding Pope Frances’ burial services tomorrow on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Today is Thursday in the Octave of Easter.  Father Anthony leads us in daily prayer and in prayer for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis as we are in the mourning period He lies in state at St. Peter’s Basilica as the faithful come to pay their respects.  Father Anthony focuses on the readings for the easter season that we are in.  He engages Christina and Tony in conversation regarding the Faith and the example that Jesus set as he lived as well as the office of the Papacy.   Later, Father along with Christina and Tony again draw attention to the rising numbers we are seeing in young adults attendance. Father encourages us to pray for the repose of the soul of Pope Frances and to pray for the church and its future new leader.

Episode #4606 – Praying for the Repose of the Soul for Pope Francis & Divine Mercy Sunday

Lauretta hosts the program as she opens the show offering prayers for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis.  Pope Francis passed today and has returned to the house of the Father.  Lauretta has Brother Stephen Cammara of the Encounter Ministry join her to talk “Divine Mercy Sunday; the devotion, the event, Sister Faustina, and the blessing bestowed through the devotion.  She is later joined my Mary Fioretti to discuss the passing of Pope Frances and the Vatican Protocol that ensues at his passing. They discuss the protocols that must be followed now that the Pope has passed on to a better life.  Today begins the nine-day period of mourning known as Novemdiales. The Vatican will follow specific steps that must be taken; solemn, sacred and beautiful process to ensure the stability and continuity in the Catholic Church.

Dave Carollo joins us live in the studio here in Chicago, on the Holiest of Days, along with his guest, John Paul Gutschke (joining us remotely), both from the World Apostolate of Fatima host today. Dave leads us in praying the Angeles and offers a reading for today.  Together, they talk about the significance of Good Friday and they share what it means to them personally.  Dave talks about our fallen nature and our need to take responsibility and to grow in strength to avoid submitting to our human nature.  They discuss the need and importance to guide people back to God and chat about strategies as to how to accomplish that along with the many works and efforts by the World Apostolate of Fatima-the Blue Army.
