Thursday with the Two Tony’s and they are usually thrilled to be here, but thrill turns to grief as they discuss about the bombing at the Kabul Airport that was breaking news this morning, causing Father Anthony to wonder about the hope in the world on this sad day.  This also brings to mind that September 11th is coming up and Saint Stanislaus will hold a commemorative mass for them.  Mainly, Father Anthony shares some of the latest facts and news surrounding the two explosions and the safety of all those involved and caught in the middle of it, leading to discuss on Pure Evil in the world.  Tony shares his thoughts on this as well, leading to all the anger and fear felt by this act.  They also look at and reflect on works that talk about leaving the church and losing ones faith.       

Episode # 5701 - Father Koys Looks More Into Covid-19 And The Vaccines

Father Koys returns to us loyal listeners after being away on vacation.  At the start of the show, he shares with us what he read during that time, the works of Warren Carol which examines the history of the church through a 5 volume set.  To help indicate what year, around 1250.  His main focus on the show, is to discuss more on the Covid-19 Pandemic and the virus itself, along with the vaccines that have been developed to combat the virus.  Like many around the world, Father Koys wants to see this virus go away and he shares some of the latest facts and testimonies on the vaccines, as well as the Delta-Variant form of the virus.  

Episode # 5700 – The Two Tony’s Stress The Importance Of Prayer And God

Monday Mood hit the Two Tony’s this Tuesday, with thinking about how anyone doesn’t or can’t survive without prayer.  This raises them to stress the idea and thoughts on how important prayer is in our lives and how it’s an essential element in our faith and faith in God, especially the way the world is today.  This also has them discuss the latest information regarding what is going on in Afghanistan and those who are going through difficult times in Haiti.   With that in mind, the Two Tony’s discuss more on the Covid-19 vaccines.  

Episode # 5699 – An Interview With Annie Marie Vander Meulen

Lauretta Froelich is here once again and not exactly flying solo.  First, she offers prayers for all those who are suffering and going through hard times, not just with Covid, but also those in Haiti who are suffering from the recent earthquake and tropical storms that are passing through them and all the conflict in Afghanistan.  Joining her in the studio is Annie Marie Vander Meulen, a local singer/song writing/musician who, during the Covid months, will be releasing a song about the Blessed Mother this month.  Annie Marie shares not only what inspired her to write and perform this song, but also shares about her family history and how she became a singing and song writer.  We are very pleased to play on the show, the song itself: Trust Me. Thursday with the Two Tony’s today.  First, they discuss the feelings of happiness and sadness, such as being happy when you accomplish something, but we can’t be happy all the time.  In classic Thursday tradition on the show, the Two Tony’s once again continue the importance of prayer and discuss why it’s important to pray and in these times we live in, necessary.  This brings to mind the fear of things around us and the signs of the times with the pandemic going on and slowing down, but rising with the new Delta Variant and a need for prayer and God.

TGIF everyone on Friday the 13^th, LOL.  But the Two Tony’s are here and they are excited for the weekend.  Opening the show, they discuss how, tragically at Lollapalooza this year, many attendants contracted Covid and the Two Tony’s share the facts and feelings on this continuing dilemma.  From what’s mentioned, the topic of discussion is ethnic groups and how times have changed in terms of some things, which in turn brings the discussion back full circle on the Latin Mass and other traditions in the world.  With the Feast Day of the Assumption coming up, the Two Tony’s talk about the preparations for that too, as well as how we all suffer during life, but how the Feast Day of the Assumption reminds us to remain vigilant.
