Episode #4879 Prayer & Praying with the Pope

It’s Monday and Lauretta welcomes back Mary Fiorito (former WOC host and co-host) back to the show today to tackle prayer and praying with the Pope.  They catch up and chat about the crazy weather in the Midwest this summer as Mary drives in the torrential rain.  We go to break hoping Mary can find a safe space to continue her participation.  After the break, Mary is safe and they lean into discussing prayer, referencing Pope Leo videos promoting prayer as well as his words to encourage SILENCE and to LISTEN for God. In particular they discuss forms of prayer and the fulfillment that it brings.  As they talk they acknowledge that there is misfortune and that despite the bad times, we can experience joy in God through prayer as Pope Leo has expressed many times in his speeches.  They touch on experiences and situations that have been blessings to themselves as well as themselves being blessings to others reminding us that we can always be a blessing to others if we just allow God to work through us.  So let us all stop and be silent as we listen for God.
