Episode #4838 On Celebrating the Ascension

Father Anthony with Tony and Cristina gather to discuss the goings on, and people in the Parish. Father greets everyone and discusses the school mass, just completed that included a light, ribbon and awards ceremony.  Father recognizes the bittersweet joy given this is the last school award ceremony as the school will close at the end of the academic year.  Father discusses the school history and the changes in the area that ultimately led to this outcome. The group agrees that despite the school closing, St Stanislaus Kostka Academy offered a good Catholic based education and the students will take that with them.  After break Father offers prayer with the Litany to Our Lady.  Father continues discussion regarding the Ascension started yesterday and they comment on the beauty of the mass in celebration of the Feast of the Ascension. Father closes with reading scripture from the Catechism to offer words to help us maintain proper perspective in our faith.
