TGIF everyone and even though it’s April 1, 2022 and April Fools Day today, we have a real treat for you today. Father Anthony is joined by several students again from Saint Stanislaus Kostka School, from Mrs. Riley’s 4th grade class. The kids are very excited to be on the show again, as well as off for Spring Break next week. Father Anthony asks them again some insightful and thoughtful questions, not only to test their knowledge, but to have them share their feelings regarding some historical facts. One of those involves talking about confession and why it’s so important to so many. They also get the chance to ask Father Anthony some questions too.

TGIAF and it feels like one of those days as Father Anthony and Tony put it. After the opening prayer, the Two Tony’s discuss first Father Anthony’s morning cup of coffee and how time seems to be getting away from them today. With Easter coming up, Father Anthony reads a passage from the Book of Exodus and how it relates to what is going on in the world, leading to again our faith. It also relates to losing and regaining our sensitivity toward God in our days and times we go through, with all the trials and tribulations in life.

Father Koys is back with us and he has much to discuss. For one thing, how the world is reaching to getting out of the pandemic, with how several areas of Chicago and Illinois, as well as other states, have lifted the mask mandates due to cases and hospitalizations going down, but he reminds us that there are some who are still nervous and to be respectful to their choice of keeping the mask on for the time being. He also discusses the recent zoom meeting Pope Francis had with students from Loyola University. From this, it reflects on all that is going on in the world, not just the Pandemic and the war in Ukraine.

Tuesday with the Two Tony’s loyal listeners. Today, they discuss some of the articles from the National Catholic Register that aim at the Consecration of Ukraine and Russia last week and how some may feel it might lead to more problems instead of a more peaceful solution. This also raises up more on the consecration itself, as well as others such as the consecration of souls and leading sinners to repentance and forgiveness. Another, is that this brings to mind once again our faith in God and if we will accept Him in our lives and His help and the message of Fatima.

Happy Monday everyone and because it is Spring Break for lots of students and school children this week, Mary is with her family and Lauretta is flying solo today. However, she is thrilled and excited to have on with her on the show as her guest: Kelly Walquist, founder of the organization WINE: Women in the New Evangelization. Kelly shares with Lauretta and everyone the history and purpose of WINE, as well as all the work it has conducted and done to help out so many and to expand the love of the Holy Trinity of God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit. The ladies also discuss some of Kelly’s book: Walk In Her Sandals and about other books and how they came to be written and the inspiration to write them. TGIF once again everyone and after coming from a funeral, Father Anthony reminds us that the Consecration of Ukraine and Russia is happening (at the time of the show when it was live) and after the opening prayer, which is the actual prayer for the consecration, the Two Tony’s discuss the importance of this and what its purpose is and what it means for the war in Ukraine, especially as a means to lead to the end of the war and that a peaceful solution be found to resolve this conflict. All of us at Winds of Change offer our thoughts and prayers for Ukraine and that with the Consecration today, that a peaceful solution be reached.

After going through confessions this morning, Father Anthony is drained and along with Tony, they discuss some of the recent readings Father came across, and how they relate to the ongoing turmoil within the world, allowing us to remember that God is with us and He will help us. This raises up opinions on what is told to us, as well as those in our society that can confuse us or question our politicians, beliefs, news, and other aspects. This leads Father Anthony to remind us to take God seriously and to have Him in our lives and to continue to have faith in Him. The Two Tony’s share on what is true in the world and what might not be in terms of beliefs and who to believe when we are told things, particularly in the media.

To do that on the show today, he talks about the upcoming consecration of Ukraine and Russia in hopes that it will lead to a peaceful solution for the war in Ukraine. He also offers important prayers for this and all those who are suffering in the war in Ukraine. Father Koys also shares some of the various opinions on the upcoming consecration and if it will help reach a peaceful solution with Gods help, or if it will lead to more conflict between these two nations, raising the question on why God is allowing this war to happen.

This brings to mind Father Anthony talking about dispelling the darkness that is going on and with this tragedy taking place, providing hope in what is being done and the hope the God will allow peace to prevail.
