After conducting the Children’s Mass this morning and talking about the little students going pumpkin picking recently, Father Anthony (Tony running late but arrives as the show goes) and reflects on the mass. Due to this reflection, The Two Tony’s share their thoughts on the church in the present day and the love and even the fear…of God. This brings about everyone’s choice to either allow God to come into our lives, or we choose not to.

Thursday with the Two Tony’s and after opening prayer, Father Anthony reflects on the prayers he read in two books he has with him on the show. From those prayers, the Two Tony’s use them and the words from the books as well to reflect on things going on in life and society. Another area the Two Tony’s examine, is talking more about Covid, since Father Anthony had it and he’s negative now…but they state their opinions and what the fears are that the general public feels due to what information is true or up to date on the virus. However, Father Anthony shares some words from an article on those becoming fathers and husbands.

Flying solo today, Father Koys is once again here and it’s close to the end of October and he has so much to look forward too like All Saints Day and All Souls Day, in terms of believing in things that are and how it relates and reflects on our faith. In particular, he looks at Purgatory. He also shares the upcoming parties his church will be having, with several skits done by some of the kids for the upcoming days, including Halloween and shares several points from G.K. Chesterton’s Catholic Book: Orthodoxy.

Father Anthony returns and he is negative, that is…he tested negative for Covid and he’s all better now. Tony joins him and after opening prayer…Father Anthony shares his experience with being sick with Covid-19. He also shares the effects of the virus, not just on him but on others that may be experiencing the same thing after testing positive for Covid. They also discuss more on the importance of prayer and faith.

TGIF with the Two Tony’s. Coming off a funeral this morning and picking up their discussion from yesterday in references to turning to God in times of stress and in times of need, which relates to the Spiritual Battle Father Anthony has mentioned many times. His main point is the tension, within the church and our lives and God helps to set things right. This brings up discussing the Mother Church as a whole and not only history, but the legacy and help it has provided to many who have lost their faith and need Gods Grace and forgiveness.
