Episode # 5843 - Reflections And Deepening Our Faith
Tuesday Mar 15, 2022
Tuesday Mar 15, 2022
Due to Father Anthony being away in Rochester this week, this is a re-air from February 15th. Thank you.
The Two Tony’s are back this week and they are feeling pretty good, despite being tired sometimes (LOL). But seriously, they discuss more on the work that Father Anthony has to do and how God can make it stressful at times with so much work to do, but helps us get through things. With all that in mind, they express how we have to be alert at times and that when we get tired and your mind gets tired, you have to go on. They also reflect on the readings and the masses from Sunday, pointing out to deepen our faith in the Life of Christ.

From this, they examine some of the many points around Lent, including fasting when it comes to things in the Season of Lent during the 40 days and 40 nights. With fasting in mind, the Two Tony’s raise the question and idea about why God has bad things happen and why would God allow these things to happen, which leads to talk about God’s anger and God’s love.

Episode # 5840 – The Wars In Our Lives
Thursday Mar 10, 2022
Thursday Mar 10, 2022
On this Thursday, we join the Two Tony’s once again and this time they have much to discuss. This time, not focused on Tony as on Tuesday (LOL) but on the apocalyptic times we live in these days, especially with the war in Ukraine continuing and the Pandemic. After prayer, they discuss all that is happening with Russia and Ukraine, as well as all the violence and “war” in our lives, in marriages, crime, and other areas of violence, relating “war” to the stress in our lives. This brings to mind how everyone is nervous about WW III possibly rising and Father Anthony quotes some of the Book of Revelations here. This again raises the question of why would God allow all this to happen and another, with it not being God, but people, to raise the question of believing in God.

Episode # 5834 - Father Koys On Ash Wednesday 2020
Monday Mar 07, 2022
Monday Mar 07, 2022
Due to issues, this is a delayed podcast from last week. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you. And because it was/is Ash Wednesday and Father Koys is/was busy during the day, this is a re-air from February 26th, 2020. Again thank you.
Father Koys is back and he is very excited, for today is Ash Wednesday and he got his ash cross today for that and he is getting ready, as is everyone for the season of Lent this year. He also continues his discussion on the morals and principles we face today and how the works of G.K. Chesterton, whom he’s discussed before, can explain that. By using a classic Monty Python skit, Father Koys expresses its use and meaning for Ash Wednesday, in terms of denying the truth on things and reminds him of why Lent is needed in the world. This brings to mind how we not only deny the truth, but deny that we have a bad side and deny that we can do bad and how the need of Lent allows us to become better people. Father Koys also uses G.K. Chesterton’s works on Lent as well.
