For one thing, related to the Supreme Court’s dealings with abortion rights, they share their feelings regarding the situation and how it relates to activism in some ways, as well as sharing their feelings in regards to women in this and other difficult situations. And once again, it relates once again to the Spiritual Battle that the Two Tony’s have mentioned and talked about on numerous shows. This is a big issue in regards to how Mother’s Day is this weekend too and brings to mind the various opinions those in the church have on this particular issue.

They also reflect on the signs of the times, once again on the topic of social media and how the generations of today use it and encounter it, leading to lots of differences in relationships with others. This brings to mind our conscience that (without thinking of Disney) guide us as well as God to guide us when dealing with all the stress and joy that come in life and how He won’t abandon us and He will help us in our troubles.

TGIF everyone and Lauretta is back with us. Today, after talking about it on Monday, Lauretta continues her examination into the film: Father Stu, giving her own review on the movie and shares some of the moments in the movie that lead him to become a priest and how it is a very powerful, emotional movie. Lauretta also had the privilege to meet and interview the star of the movie: Mark Wahlberg. Looking in a different direction, Lauretta discusses the state of our city of Chicago, and state of Illinois as well, in terms of all the violence going on. One obvious solution is to turn to God and Jesus and allow them to help us and guide us in the chaos, not to allow us to be lost but to help us and allow the love of God and Jesus to provide us with a feeling of help.

Time for another brain wrinkling Wednesday with Father Koys loyal listeners. Today, he starts off with talking about the continuing war in Ukraine with Russia and talking about human nature, in terms of not only being good, but to have the capacity for bad as well. With this being a challenge today, Father Koys brings to mind how the war seems to be escalating rather than diminishing, with the question: can an outside third-party benefit from the two sides fighting it out? He also looks at what NATO is and has been doing in response to the war in Ukraine, including the threat of nuclear missiles used, leading toward many being afraid and how NATO is going back on its promises with this. He also examines the economic consequences that this war has had and continues to have, in terms of oil and gas for one example.

Tuesday with the Two Tony’s loyal listeners. Today, they discuss some of the articles from the National Catholic Register that aim at the Consecration of Ukraine and Russia last week and how some may feel it might lead to more problems instead of a more peaceful solution. This also raises up more on the consecration itself, as well as others such as the consecration of souls and leading sinners to repentance and forgiveness. Another, is that this brings to mind once again our faith in God and if we will accept Him in our lives and His help and the message of Fatima.
