Kathy began working at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago more than 40 years ago, as a part-time flex worker providing administrative support in various departments. She has been helping individuals and families flourish ever since! From social worker to Vice President of Programs to Acting CEO, Kathy exemplified both humble service and stalwart leadership. Kathy recently retired after many years of faithful leadership. She talks with Lauretta today about Catholic Charities, the services it provides and how she moved to acting CEO. TGIF with the Two Tony’s and after Tony makes his way in due to the parking lot being re-surfaced, there is much to be ready for. For one thing, it’s Father’s Day Sunday and also Producer Nick’s 40th birthday on Saturday too, but mainly, Corpus Christi and getting ready to celebrate it more on Sunday and the Two Tony’s discuss it’s importance and meaning to all and our relationship with God.

The Two Tony’s are here and after the opening prayer, Father Anthony points out with so much going on in the world, mostly bad but good at times too, he decides to stick and stay with prayer. With that in mind, he expresses not only the importance of it, but also it’s our way to reach out to God to seek His forgiveness, but to have Him hear us in our times of suffering, as well as the beautiful words prayers have on the mysteries of life and our lives.

It’s brain wrinkling time with Father Koys today on the show. His focus this time is continuing examinations of the Supreme Court Case of Dobbs V. Jackson and to help out with this, Father Koys needs more brain wrinkling power and he is joined by Michael Kenny, President of the Pro-Life Partners Foundation. Michael offers insightful information with this particular case and opinions on what could happen with results of that case and the final decision. For one thing, Tony explains how on Sunday, everyone was concerned about Father Anthony in terms of what he was talking about and how he acted in mass. Also, Tony talks about how he is wearing sunglasses due to having an eye exam. With what Father Anthony was talking about, this continues on the front of how we are in the Spiritual Battle and makes several references, both cultural and spiritual, to give people an idea of that battle. For one thing, what the children of today are being subjective to in society.

Lauretta Froelich is back loyal listeners and she is super excited for the show today. She has on with her today, Dr. Matthew Bunson, Senior Fellow of the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology and the Chancellor of the North Central Lieutenancy of the Equestrian Order of Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. He is the author of many books including: The Encyclopedia of Catholic History, The Encyclopedia of Saints and The Angelic Doctor: The Life and World of St. Thomas Aquinas.
Dr. Bunson is on the faculty of the Catholic Distance University, moderator of the Church History forum for EWTN.com, contributing editor and columnist for This Rock magazine and served as a consultant for various media outlets.
On today's program, Lauretta and Dr. Bunson discuss the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, the spirituality of the Order and the Eucharist in light of the Bishops upcoming Eucharistic Amazement.

Joyce is a popular speaker and the author of Helen Prejean: Death Row’s Nun (Liturgical Press) and Augustus Tolton, The Church is the True Liberator. Her work appears regularly in local, regional, and national publications.
