Father Koys is back and as on every Wednesday, he’s ready to wrinkly your brains on the latest topics and events going on in the world. Today, his focus once again on many of the topics, issues, and conflicts we face in our daily lives. Some of those include Purgatory, what Pope Francis said about Pope Benedict addressing certain issues that came up in the church, and the theologies of the body we might not consider thinking about. He also examines letters from Pope Benedict to understand the current crisis the church is in.

Primarily they discuss how Christmas was last year in 2022 and how the new year has started up with much, including the Feast Day of the Epiphany and other important days past and coming up. Sadly…Father Anthony talks about the funeral he had yesterday for a 3 month old baby, which leads into the major things we face in society and life.

Our guest today is Father Ryan Brady. He is the associate pastor of Our Lady of the Ridge Parish (Chicago Ridge) and St. Linus Parish (Oak Lawn). Fr. Brady was ordained on May 19th, 2021. Fr. Brady also serves as the Assistant Program Director for the Rome Experience, a summer program for the Diocesan Seminarians. Father Brady will share his experience at the funeral Mass of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI and the Feast of the Epiphany. For more information:

A change of pace again for this first Friday of 2023, as we once again join Father Koys filling in for Father Anthony Bush returning from Rochester. Today…Father Koys focuses on the topic of audits and seeking the truth on things and aspects of life within the Political Relam. On the other hand…today is the Feast Day of the Epiphany and he discusses aspects and ideals surrounding this particular Feast Day. Another topic is the election of the new Speaker of the House in Washington and to help examine this, he turns to the works of G.K. Chesterton once again and he talks about the passing of Pope Benedict XVI.

Not only for the Christmas Season, but everyone is happy to welcome back Producer Nick, who unfortunately tested positive for Covid-19 last week and he shares how that happened. But he’s feeling much better and happy to be back. The Two Tony’s share fond memories about the Christmas Season and all that happened for Christmas too…not just over the past weekend, but also the history of other masses and the birth of Christ.
