Today, even though we are in the Holy Season of Lent, Father Koys wants to look at the church as a whole once again, examining several works and letters on several subjects in the church and why some continue to go and why others stop going to church. This brings to mind what we do in church, besides praying and seeking God’s forgiveness of our sins, but also a way of building a community among those who attend. The discussion also brings to mind what we can expect when in God’s presence and obtain a Higher Happiness when talking to God.

TGIF and Father Anthony talks about the very successful Children’s Mass this morning he conducted and how it is not only inspiring to see the kids (munchkins as he calls them lol) at the mass, but also taking an interest in what is going on. In a different direction, the Two Tony’s reflect on the way things are in the world, in particular the War in Ukraine and also how much is happening around the world as well, making it crazy times we live in.

The season of Lent is here this year and the Two Tony’s (after Producer Nick helps start off the show) reflect on the Lent. Since Ash Wednesday was yesterday, there was a very successful and packed mass yesterday, they are super excited to discuss it, how it seems to bring so many back to the church, and remind us on how God is around us and we are aware of Him. Tony also confesses he went to a different church yesterday and he explains how he felt and how important Lent and Ash Wednesday is to him. This allows the Two Tony’s to express thoughts and opinions on some of the things happening within the church.
