Today, Father Anthony addresses a question posed to him “Why do we pray if God already selected the next Pope?” He begins by discussing the importance and the inner workings of prayer and the Holy Spirit. Father references the Sunday readings and unpacks just how applicable they are for the upcoming conclave.

She briefly discusses the conclave and its details along with reminding everyone to pray for the Holy Spirit to be present with the Cardinals and guide their voting, until such times as we see the white smoke and hear the announcement “Habemus Papam”.
