Episode # 5450- Father Koys Bringing Words Of Hope And Comfort With The Covid-19 Pandemic

Father Koys returns loyal listeners after being away for a couple of weeks.  His focus today is to talk more about the truth surrounding what is happening around us, with the current dilemma the world is facing too.  He offers a prayer for all those who are sick with, as well as for the entire world going through Covid-19.  After this, Father Koys goes further into discussing all those who have said different things during this time, providing more insights and trying to bring positive feelings and words of comfort and hope to all of us.  To help on this, he brings up some quotes from famous movies, comedies and in particular, Dumb and Dumber with Jim Carry and Jeff Daniels. 

Episode # 5449 – The 10th Anniversary Of Winds Of Change On The Air

Tuesday with the Two Tony’s after Labor Day 2020 and they are doing okay and feeling alright.  For one thing, it is that start of celebrating the 10 years Winds of Change has been on the air.  From the special breaks made, the Two Tony’s reflect on being on the show for 10 years and how much has happened in those 10 years, as well as remembering those who helped start and put it together, as well as those who contributed to the show being on it, such as Gerri, bringing back many fond memories of shows past.   

Episode# 5448- Mary Interviews Andrea Picciotti-Bayer And Kristen Day

Episode # 5447 – TGIF With The Two Tony’s In September

TGIF loyal listeners in September from the Two Tony’s, in how Summer is coming to an end and being an unusual summer too with everything that was going on and postponed due to the lockdown from the Covid-19 Pandemic.  Despite all that, they are feeling pretty good and the main focus of discussion is talking about the past readings from Sunday and also talking about sacrifice and the mass itself and remind everyone about the sacrifice being an important part of the mass and also the importance of the mass as a whole.  Father Anthony also talks about himself for a bit, in terms of all that he has been doing and masses conducted recently, and how he feels about the recent readings and speaks of the watchman.       

Episode # 5446 – Reflecting On Pope Gregory The Great

Thursday with the Two Tony’s loyal listeners and they are feeling pretty good today.  Starting off, they reflect on how they have been on the air and on WNDZ for 10 years and how special it feels for such a long lasting show.  On a different note, they discuss the differences in the signs of the times again, this time writing letters and notes vs emails and texting people these days.  Also, this brings to mind the new voting by mail for the upcoming election and how that once again changes things, but for the better or worse.  This all once again relates to the stress we all face in our lives, and this brings to mind a conversation Father Anthony had with Jazmine who works at Saint Stanislaus Kostka about what Pope Gregory the Great said, also with today his Feast Day and which in turn is related and reflected on what the Two Tony’s discussed earlier with stress due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.    

Episode # 5445 - Father Koys On The Spirituality Of Being Negative

Father Koys returns to us loyal listeners, after being away last week at a funeral and the week before, on the phone ( a very different and change of pace for the show). Today, he has many topics to discuss ad to wrinkle our brains. Starting off, Father Koys talks about having a positive attitude with all that is going on and the healthy attitude has to be a combination of positive and negative. Father Koys talks about this in terms of the environment we live in or are around and how it affects us in both areas. He also brings up one of his favorite priests, whose work focuses on the positive and negative in the world, Father Rocky. After that discussion, Father Koys turns to discuss the idea of being blessed by God and using it in terms of the rich and poor, not just in terms of money, but in terms of being rich in feeling blessed by God. He also discusses the Blood of Jesus and its connection to all our bloodlines and how it’s different from ours.

The Two Tony’s return loyal listeners on this first day of September and they have much to discuss today.  They offer prayers for all that is going on in the world and with all the suffering and chaos around us.  Later on, they reflect on the recent Sunday readings and how they are related to what is going on around us and Father Anthony talks about challenging them, as well as reminding all of us that Life is a challenge and consequences to things.  They also point out that with these challenges and consequences, it’s a way to show what is the truth in terms of Life and things we go through, against the way we want things in Life to go.  In this discussion, it leads to talk about the Catholic worship to God.

Episode # 5442 - The Feast Day Of Saint Ignatius Of Loyola 2020

Due to Father Anthony coming back from Rochester, and he is doing very well and healthy, this is a re-air of one of his most popular shows, from July 31st.  Thank you.

TGIF everyone and the Two Tony’s are with us for the last day in July. Today, after the opening prayer, the Two Tony’s discuss that’s it’s a good Friday and Father Anthony once again tells the lock-down rules for Christians, in case others missed it the last time. Also, tonight is the Consecration of the Precious Blood at Saint Stanislaus Kostka and the Two Tony’s invite all and talk about its importance. This in turn, goes back to talking about Life and our relationship with God. The Two Tony’s also point out how many have returned to Saint Stanislaus but still many are a bit hesitant with the virus, but they shout out for all to come back and that they are still in the thoughts and prayers of those at Saint Stanislaus. Today is also the Feast Day of Saint Ignatius of Loyola and Father Anthony shares history behind this Saint. From this, the importance of keeping our faith in God is brought up.

The Two Tony’s are back this week and after praying the Precious Blood of Jesus at the start of the show, they turn to more on the way things are these days and how many things are opening and reopening up due to Covid-19, explaining all the changes that have taken place, such as masks, face shields and screens, and on contact. This brings to mind feelings on the political decisions made to ensure safety, as well as how some follow and some don’t’. From this, it creates more anxiety and fear, with more questions asked by many, but the Two Tony’s try to provide if not answers, but comfort in these times.
