TGIF everyone and the Two Tony’s are with us for the last day in July. Today, after the opening prayer, the Two Tony’s discuss that’s it’s a good Friday and Father Anthony once again tells the lock-down rules for Christians, in case others missed it the last time. Also, tonight is the Consecration of the Precious Blood at Saint Stanislaus Kostka and the Two Tony’s invite all and talk about its importance. This in turn, goes back to talking about Life and our relationship with God. The Two Tony’s also point out how many have returned to Saint Stanislaus but still many are a bit hesitant with the virus, but they shout out for all to come back and that they are still in the thoughts and prayers of those at Saint Stanislaus. Today is also the Feast Day of Saint Ignatius of Loyola and Father Anthony shares history behind this Saint. From this, the importance of keeping our faith in God is brought up.

Tuesday with the Two Tony’s after Labor Day 2020 and they are doing okay and feeling alright. For one thing, it is that start of celebrating the 10 years Winds of Change has been on the air. From the special breaks made, the Two Tony’s reflect on being on the show for 10 years and how much has happened in those 10 years, as well as remembering those who helped start and put it together, as well as those who contributed to the show being on it, such as Gerri, bringing back many fond memories of shows past.

His topic of discussion this time, continues on the craziness in our time, with the Covid-19 Pandemic, riots, and political issues that contribute to the craziness. Starting out, he begins with a bold statement that he feels the Holy Spirit is allowing him to say this: “I think I’m too old to worry about dying young.” He asks you listeners if you can say that about yourselves and also Father Koys speaks about himself in regards to this statement. A second topic, is to talk about and discuss a recent interview regarding a Chinese doctor who from Wuhan, China: Dr. Li-Meng Yan, explaining more about the Coronavirus and the evidence it came from a lab. From this discussion, it raises many questions regarding the outbreak of the virus and its spread and our faith.

The Two Tony’s are back on this Tuesday and they are very excited. After the opening prayer, they have trouble figuring out where to go on the show. For one thing, this Tuesday has been non-stop in terms of all the work and frustration that is going on with so much to do. With that in mind, Father Anthony talks about how he has much to do, but it’s his obligation. They reflect on the past weekend too, in terms of all the masses being successful with a lot of people showing up and the readings. They also discuss the latest information and their feelings on the riots and looting that has happened in the last few days, also the protests too, with how things have gotten really bad at times, with many people affected and hurt. On a different topic, the Two Tony’s reflect on historical stories from the city.

Mary discusses with Tyler of how and what influenced and inspired him to write this book. Also, the discussion continues with them on the changes in the mass, in particular with the students and wearing masks now too. This also continues the discussion on sacrificing and sacrifices made by people with the mass. Also, today is the Anniversary of 9/11 and Father Anthony and Tony discuss that, as well as Father Anthony talking to the students about this tragedy. With all this craziness in the world, Father Anthony reminds us to keep the faith and our faith.

It’s Thursday with the Two Tony’s and they are doing much better in terms of where to go for the show. For one thing, the kids are back in Saint Stanislaus Kostka School and how half are there today and half on Friday, with many new things in there, especially the social distancing and wearing masks too. But Father Anthony is excited for the children and that teachers have to have a whole new way of doing things and routines now too. On a different note, Father Anthony asks Tony, and you loyal listeners, 3 questions are asked here: 1-If someone were to ask you who Jesus is? 2-Who or what is the church? And 3-Who or what is the Pope? With Father Anthony asking, how would you respond to those? Tony provides some sincere answers, which you all may or may not come up with as well. From these responses, the Two Tony’s discuss again the idea of asking ourselves the question: Who am I? In terms of the Church, Jesus, and God Himself.
