Episode # 5520 - Father Koys On The Appeals And Effects Of The Pandemic

Father Koys is back and he is feeling good, but he’s getting tired of all the Covid-19 information and the situation, like millions around the world.  However, he reminds us all to be vigilant and remain faithful in these rough times.  He focuses on the hope that has arisen with scientists and medical experts getting closer to a vaccine and that they have learned more about the virus.  He reviews some of the appeals from those in the church and medical community who offer appeals in terms of the Pandemic, about the effects it has had on people, how the media has talked about it, and some of the good points include the therapies that have been suggested and prescribed and hope for the vaccine soon and put our fears to rest.       

 

Episode # 5519 - The Two Tony's Thoughts On A Strange Nativity Scene

Tuesday with the Two Tony's and this time, they're a little discombobulated, due to not only a few tech issues that got worked out, but mainly with a very strange Nativity Scene that has caught the attention of not only them, but the Church and entire Church Community.  From this, the Two Tony's feel disappointment, embarrassment, and bothersome by this, allowing them to asking several questions such as: why do this and if you were to go and see this, how would you feel.  This leads to Father Anthony once again talking about being able to identify ourselves and to "wake up" again in terms of our faith and remaining vigilant.

Episode # 5515 – Father Koys On Saint Juan Diego

Father Koys is back to wrinkle our brains once again and he’s very excited today.  His focus on the show concerns Our Lady of Guadalupe and Novena, and how we need help, especially this year with so much death, destruction, devastation, and depression.  With the Novena in mind and being the time of year for it, Father Koys shares the history and stories surrounding a particular Saint during this time of Our Lady of Guadalupe: Saint Juan Diego.  Along the lines of Saint Juan Diego, Father Koys once again turns toward the works of G.K. Chesterton and his book: Catholics And Converts.         

Episode # 5514 - The Two Tony’s On Returning To Civility

Due to Father Anthony being in Rochester this week and Producer Nick working at one of his other jobs, this is a re-air from last Tuesday and will officially air tomorrow December 8th.  Thank you.

Tuesday with the Two Tony’s on the first day of December and Tony is in better spirits this week than he was last week.  After the opening prayer, the Two Tony’s discuss how the Season of Advent has started, besides Christmas coming up.  But on a different subject, Father Anthony talks about a message from Saturday that he got on his voicemail and that it affected him.  This also raises the discussion to talk about the way things are going and becoming a little disoriented in society, especially with what has happened to Police Officers in New York.  They also talk about the post-election and how so much is being investigated with it, in terms of suspicion of fraud and other things.  To help reflect on this and provide some hope of returning to civility, Father Anthony brings up the writings and works from Abraham Lincoln.

TGIF with the Two Tony’s, for Tony is back and they can’t believe that we’re in December and the Second Day of the Novena and first off, Father Anthony is happy Tony is back, and how yesterday he did the show himself and very good.  After the prayer, still addressing that it’s needed these days, the Two Tony’s focus on the Second Day of the Novena and how the 12^th of December is the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe and this year it’s different and how that difference is affecting people who want to celebrate this joyous day.  This brings to mind the recent effects of the Pandemic around the world and all the new rules and orders to follow.  Reflecting on the Second Day of Novena, Father Anthony shares how Mary is the Model for Prayer and very important. 

Episode # 5511 – Father Antony On The First Day Of The Novena

Flying solo, Father Anthony opens the show with prayer, as it is needed very much during these days and times, not just due to the Pandemic, but the Season of Advent.  Afterwards, Father Anthony discusses how many of the masses and celebrations coming up have been either changed or canceled due to the Pandemic.  One main one that he talks about, the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe.  He also shares much of the history and importance of Our Lady Of Guadalupe, reminding everyone to keep hope and remain hopeful in these times.  He also reflects on the first day of the Novena.  On a different note, Father Anthony discusses how the Pandemic has changed so much in the education of kids with online and in person learning, with the tragic suicide of an 11 year old boy during a zoom class and relating to the disorder of society these days.
