We’re pleased to have the return of Mary and Lauretta on this first Monday of May. The ladies are very excited and they have a great show lined up for you.  First, the discuss how Pope Francis has declared this year the year of Saint Joseph.  Also, they discuss what has been happening in the Pro-Life area.  Another spot is talking about the recent letter submitted by Salvatore Joseph Cordileone, the Archbishop of San Francisco and the responses it has gotten on social media sights.  For the second half of the show, the ladies welcome Dan Herbert, a former police officer and now a current defense attorney who talks about Bank the Blue, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting police offices in Chicago and Cook County, offering them programs outside their departments that will address mental health issues and help rebuild relationships with the communities they serve.  Bank the Blue has an upcoming fundraiser on October 21^st, 2021.  For more information on Mary, Lauretta, and Dan Herbert, visit online at:

TGIF and we’re at the end of April this year loyal listeners and it’s hard to believe that.  Since May and Summer is coming up, the Two Tony’s discuss how celebrations are expected or hopefully expected as more and more people get vaccinated and the pandemic starts to slow down.  After the prayer, the discussion focuses on continuing on life and death this time, sharing the reality we live in and face every day of our lives.  This also brings up that within the exile (the pandemic), we still have God’s love and help in these times and we have to awaken to see it more clearly.

Thursday with the Two Tony’s, as they both rush in with the Spring Shower hitting Chicago today.  First off, they discuss how their Easters were, such as the masses held and what they did to celebrate Easter.  The topic of discussion is the Novena of the Devin Mercy that was expressed to be prayed by Jesus himself and explain the history behind that, as well as the importance of it, especially during this time.  They also point out how it’s necessary for everyone in this years Easter Season and how important it is now, with the world in the state that it’s in and when we seek the Lord’s forgiveness and mercy for our sins.  Since it’s Easter Thursday, the Seventh Day in this, Father Anthony talks about the specifics not only on this day, but the Octave’s other days too.  

Due to Father Koys being sick with Covid-19, this is a re-air from April 7th.  All of us at Winds of Change offer our thoughts and prayers for Father Koys to have a full, speedy recovery and to be healthy again.  

Father Koys is here once again loyal listeners and today his focus is on something very important in the Easter Season: the Resurrection, not only of Christ, but of ourselves as well.  From this, Father Koys examines the topics of Heaven and Purgatory and to help on those points, he shares excerpts and quotes from the book: Everything You Wanted To Know About Heaven by Peter Kreeft, as well as continuing to look at his favorite authors works; G.K Chesterton.

Tuesday with the Two Tony’s and they are doing okay.  After the opening prayer and Nick saying he’s fully vaccinated with the Covid-19 vaccine, their discussion turns toward talking about the Homely one of the Deacon’s shared over the weekend at Sunday’s mass and how influential it was, including referencing in the 1990s comic event: The Death of Superman.  Not only does it bring up a good discussion of the resurrection you could say, but also about comic books and superheroes.  This raises the question: Is the Church at Peace and how long is that peace?  The Two Tony’s try to provide an answer for you loyal listeners. 

Due to Producer Nick getting his second Covid-19 Vaccine shot over the weekend and being safe in seeing if he'd feel any side effects or not, this is a re-air from April 19th (last Monday) and it will officially air on Monday April 26th, 2021.  Thank you.

Lauretta Froelich is back on this Monday and she is very excited.  On the show, she has two very important guests lined up.  For the first half of the show, she has on the line: Jacqueline Hayes, founder and commercial realtor of the Chicago Help Initiative.  Jacqueline discusses with Lauretta not only her organization and those that they have assisted and helped with the suppers at Catholic Charities that were held, but also her documentary: I Have A Name, which focuses on the homeless population in Chicago. TGIF once again loyal listeners and after the opening prayer, the Two Tony’s discuss what has been going on with the children/students at Saint Stanislaus Kostka School, in particular after the children’s mass.  Another aspect they discuss is how many women are wearing veils nowadays and what it means and shows in terms of stepping out of the world into the sacred space in the world.  The Two Tony’s reflect on how things have changed in terms of how everyone dresses for mass and how very few do it nowadays.  After the first break, Father Anthony reads for us a letter from someone who shares their feelings on recent tragic and terrible things affecting the world, not just the Pandemic, but also the verdict from the George Floyd Murder Trial and what came before the trial, such as the riots and looting.    

Thursday with the Two Tony’s and after the opening prayer and trying to figure out where to go on the show, they first discuss what has been going on in their busy lives, especially Father Anthony with going through wakes, funerals, and services.  From this, Father Anthony talks about the worship of the faith people have, not only with and in God, but with each other.  Another aspect the Two Tony’s talk once again on, is the mass itself.

It’s Wednesday and Father Koys is here with us, ready to take a look back into history and historical sights and eras, in particular the year 53 A.D. for his looking into G.K. Chesterton again, and he reminds us that Palm Sunday (as well as Easter) is coming up.  Father Koys starts off with a kind of personal topic, a little soul sharing here in terms of going to confession and how people do different things with what to confess about at certain times.  Since everyone does it differently, Father Koys explains why it’s important to confess and why you should confess what you have to confess.  On the other hand, Father Koys continues his examination of G.K. Chesterton’s works, in this case on conversion.
