TGIF loyal listeners as the Two Tony’s join us, in a cold studio due to the cold outside, but they are brining you warm thoughts regarding what is going on in the world.  Today their focus is on, silence, since Father Anthony mentioned silent prayer coming off the discussion of prayer on the previous show.  This allows Father Anthony to talk about his mother, who sadly is sick in the hospital with Covid-19 and he sends for all to pray and send their prayers for her.  He’s very confident that she will be alright and recover.  They also discuss, since his mother has one, dogs for a change of pace.

Thursday with the Two Tony’s and we are in the Season of Lent this year and they discuss lots of things surrounding it this year.  Despite that, Tony shares how he’s been feeling lately, including the passing of Rush Limbaugh.  From this, the Two Tony’s share their thoughts and feelings on his life, as well as the world itself in these times we’re in now.  Father Anthony’s major focus today is on prayer, how it’s important not only for our faith and soul, but necessary for our survival in the world.

On this snowy Tuesday in Chicago, for being hit by the massive snow storm that started overnight, the Two Tony’s are here and they have much on their minds.  For one thing, all that has been happening around the world: the Pandemic, snow storm, stress, and people losing their faith in God.  After the prayer, Father Anthony wants to go back to the mass on Sunday and the readings on repentance and conversion.  They discuss how influential those readings were/are and how they should be interpreted in order to help people in their daily lives.

Episode # 5562 - The Two Tony’s On Renewing Your Church

TGIF with the Two Tony’s everyone and they are excited to be here.  First of all, Father Anthony and Tony reflect on how Producer Nick and Tony did a good job yesterday on the show and Father Anthony says that he had a funeral yesterday too.  The biggest announcement Father Anthony talks about is the recent activity of renewing your church, from the Archdiocese working on merging and grouping some churches and others staying individual.  Their decision regarding Saint Stanislaus Kostka will be happening today, with the Two Tony’s discussing the pros and cons on this.  This brings to mind many factors that have been talked about, not only on the show, but within the Church itself.  This brings to mind accepting the knowledge and guidance of God in these times.

As promised and promoted (in case you missed it last week), this is a special re-air featuring the students from Saint Stanislaus Kostka School from last Friday.

TGIF and a very cute change of pace today, for joining Father Anthony this time, is 5 students from Saint Stanislaus Kostka Academy here with their teacher Mrs. O'Riley.  Today, the kids discuss with Father Anthony their families and also what grades they are in at Saint Stanislaus Kostka School.  They also talk about experiences and the experience of being students at the school.  They also share their feelings on what they feel grateful for and what it means to be grateful.  They also express their feelings on wearing the mask in school and in their lives.  Father Anthony also talks to them about the many things and people in their lives, in particular, vocations.  The kids also ask Father Anthony some very intriguing questions regarding elements of the church and being Catholic.
