Father Koys returns to us this week after being away from the show.  Today, he shares more of his insights from G.K. Chesterton’s works, this time the writings from his book: The Catholic Church On Conversion.  This looks at Catholicism as a novelty, that is for those Catholics who view Catholicism as something new and its effect on people.  Father Koys also shares the latest in the Covid-19 developments on the latest treatments, if not vaccines, that are being used to fight the virus, in particular bamlanivimab.      

Episode # 5579 – The Two Tony’s On Recent Developments In The World

The Two Tony’s return and after the opening prayer, they discuss how much is going on with the recent vaccination developments and also seeing the students of Saint Stanislaus Kostka School without their masks on.  This raises more questions and opinions surrounding wearing the mask and when to take them off.  However, after the first break, Father Antony discusses the upcoming Easter Letter he’s been working on and shares his thoughts surrounding preparing that this year.  This brings up the changes happening due to the virus and other things impacting the world.  Once again, the Two Tony’s remind us to keep the faith.

Episode # 5578 – Historic Lawsuit Challenging New York’s Reproductive Health Act

Episode # 5577 - Being Prepared By The Lord

TGIF everyone and the Two Tony’s start off on a good note, talking about the seasons, with how the weather in Chicago was cold, then spring like and back to cold and chilly.  With that in mind, they discuss the recent government rules in how the city of Chicago and the state has put up more rules and a stay at home advisory coming up with Thanksgiving and Christmas coming.  With the month of November here, the Two Tony’s discuss some of the Gospel Readings and those who are considered foolish, bringing to mind discussing the Holy Spirit and the Spirit of God and our relationship with Him, turning back to yesterday’s discussion, with the Two Tony’s talking about the reality we are in and how the Lord prepares us for things and if He does, how?  Especially with the way things are in the world and Father Anthony goes back to The Lord of the Rings to help.

Once again, on Thursday’s during the Season Of Lent, the Two Tony’s continue their discussion on prayer and its importance.  Today, they examine prayer through our Faith in God once again.  This brings to mind being close to God and how close we are to Him at times in our lives and how we act with Him and in our lives every day, relating to the disorder around the world.  This also brings up the anger of Jesus with how people break the Ten Commandments for example or other ways.  Another area is to look at the drama of prayer.    

Episode # 5575 – Father Koys And The Consequences Of The Equality Act

Father Koys returns to us after being away for 3 weeks with lots of things going on.  Today, he focuses on The Equality Act and examining the consequences on the changes that the act brings up.  He looks at several aspects of this: the identities of men and women, transgenders, marital relationships, and more that have raised particular interest in society today.  Father Koys stresses how if these consequences are continuously ignored, more and more problems occur within relationships, the family, and other areas of life.  Father Koys shares an article on Francis Clemet Kelly from Crisis Magazine. 

Episode # 5574 - The Two Tony’s On Returning To Civility

Due to Father Anthony in Rochester this week till Friday, this is a re-air on one of our most popular shows, from February 2nd, which also aired December 1st and 8th last year.  Thank you.

Tuesday with the Two Tony’s on the first day of December and Tony is in better spirits this week than he was last week.  After the opening prayer, the Two Tony’s discuss how the Season of Advent has started, besides Christmas coming up.  But on a different subject, Father Anthony talks about a message from Saturday that he got on his voicemail and that it affected him.  This also raises the discussion to talk about the way things are going and becoming a little disoriented in society, especially with what has happened to Police Officers in New York.  They also talk about the post-election and how so much is being investigated with it, in terms of suspicion of fraud and other things.  To help reflect on this and provide some hope of returning to civility, Father Anthony brings up the writings and works from Abraham Lincoln.

It’s Thursday and the Two Tony’s continue their examinations and reflections on prayer, as we have promoted on the show during this Season of Lent.  Today, the Two Tony’s not only continue on prayer as a mystery of faith, but also what Father Anthony has said in previous Gospel Readings at Sunday mass, which relate to the importance of prayer.  More specifically, Father Anthony wants to look at the universal call to prayer.
