It’s Wednesday and Father Koys is here with us, ready to take a look back into history and historical sights and eras, in particular the year 53 A.D. for his looking into G.K. Chesterton again, and he reminds us that Palm Sunday (as well as Easter) is coming up.  Father Koys starts off with a kind of personal topic, a little soul sharing here in terms of going to confession and how people do different things with what to confess about at certain times.  Since everyone does it differently, Father Koys explains why it’s important to confess and why you should confess what you have to confess.  On the other hand, Father Koys continues his examination of G.K. Chesterton’s works, in this case on conversion.    

Episode # 5589 - The Two Tony’s On Recent Developments In The World

The Two Tony’s return and after the opening prayer, they discuss how much is going on with the recent vaccination developments and also seeing the students of Saint Stanislaus Kostka School without their masks on.  This raises more questions and opinions surrounding wearing the mask and when to take them off.  However, after the first break, Father Antony discusses the upcoming Easter Letter he’s been working on and shares his thoughts surrounding preparing that this year.  This brings up the changes happening due to the virus and other things impacting the world.  Once again, the Two Tony’s remind us to keep the faith.

Episode # 5588 – Two Amazing Women And Their Response To Covid

On this Monday, we have Lauretta Froelich back with us.  Today, Lauretta has with us, Dalia Rocotello, VP Corporate Work Study, Christ the King Jesuit College Prep High School.  Dalia discusses how her program works and how she helps students in the workplace.  Also, Lauretta and Dalia talk about the student’s reactions and feelings from the Pandemic, as well as their acceptance rates into college.  Joining them in the discussion later on is Lauretta’s second guest, Catherine Adduci, Village President of River Forest and the three ladies discuss the vaccine for Covid-19 and its success, as well as its distribution.  They also discuss the village responses to aged seniors in the pandemic.

TGIF everyone and today, as Tony is on his way, Father Anthony is first assisted by the Prayer Warrior, George Sheldon, who helped Father Anthony with a funeral sadly this morning.  After the opening prayer, and the arrival of Tony, the Trio focuses on The Feast Day Of Saint Joseph today and George is going to help out Father Anthony with preparation of things.  Father Anthony talks about himself becoming a priest as well, or the time when he realized that he wanted to be a priest.    

Episode # 5586 – The Two Tony’s On Purification

The week is getting to the Two Tony’s, as indicated by Archdiocese Clerk Frank brings Father Anthony his coffee and with the soup kitchen busy, the lunch hour is on their minds first.  Continuing the theme for Thursday’s, the Two Tony’s discuss more on prayer.  This time, focusing on life and the purification of life with God.  This also leads to Jesus telling us and guiding us to pray and teaches us to pray, which in turn lead to those teaching their kids and families to pray.

It’s Saint Patrick’s Day and hope you all are celebrating safe and enjoying it too.  Father Koys is back and in honor of this day, Father Koys shares some of the history behind this important Saint (not just being a very big drinking day for some).  Also, Father Koys provides some Irish humor on the show too.  He reflects on Saint Patrick’s significance in Europe around the 5^th Century.  Providing many insightful facts, Father Koys reminds us of the importance of remembering Saint Patrick for what he did.  Happy Saint Patrick's Day Everyone.

Tuesday with the Two Tony’s today loyal listeners.  They have more to discuss on what is going on in the world, such as the latest news in the news, with Father Anthony recently looking at the news and focusing on the principles we have: God, morality, and other aspects.  From this, they talk about the Grammy’s and share their feelings on that show and from that show, they reflect on how people, in particular children, react and respond to the things and people they see.  It also brings up the signs of the times with the Pandemic still going on, but coming to an end with the vaccines being distributed.

Episode # 5582 – History Of Saint Stanislaus Kostka And Hope On The Horizon

TGIF loyal listeners and today is vey special, for as Father Anthony “flies in” once again, he and the staff just finished putting up a sign talking about the school and it gives a good feeling.  So far it’s been a busy day and Father Anthony is anxious and excited about his meeting with the Bishops later on this afternoon.  On a different note, the Two Tony’s discuss the actual Saint Stanislaus Kostka and Father Anthony thinks and talks about his faith and his virtues, and the courage Saint Stanislaus had in his time.  As the discussion continues, the Two Tony’s express that despite the pandemic still continues and so much political and social unrest, they remind us that there is hope on the horizon and that every age has its battles, but good will emerge triumphant.      

Episode # 5581 – The Two Tony’s On The Repetition Of Prayer

It’s Thursday with the Two Tony’s today and starting off the show, they continue the discussion of prayer (as promoted for every Thursday) and talking about repeating prayer and the importance of the repetition of prayer.  This brings to mind again as well how it brings us closer to God and how it can be done at home and other places, but how it is special to do it inside the church.  The Two Tony’s reflect on this in terms of life itself and the notion of the family and going to church, with “feeling” the ones who want to be there and the ones who don’t, raising important points of why we go to church.  The obvious reason is that God relives and forgives us, but also gives us a sense of gratification when we go.
