Tuesday with the Two Tony’s today loyal listeners.  They have more to discuss on what is going on in the world, such as the latest news in the news, with Father Anthony recently looking at the news and focusing on the principles we have: God, morality, and other aspects.  From this, they talk about the Grammy’s and share their feelings on that show and from that show, they reflect on how people, in particular children, react and respond to the things and people they see.  It also brings up the signs of the times with the Pandemic still going on, but coming to an end with the vaccines being distributed.

Holy Week starts this week loyal listeners and today Mary and Lauretta are here to discuss some of the good things going on leading up from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday.  The ladies also talk about many of the tragic events that have happened in the last few weeks, including the tragic shootings in various states, the George Floyd killing trial, the funeral for Policeman Eric Talley, and other events which is getting out of control.  From this, Mary and Lauretta remind us to remember to put our faith in God to help us and fix things and give us solutions to our problems.  During the second half of the show for a few minutes, the ladies have a guest on; Brian Burch, Executive Director of Catholic Vote to discuss the petition to remove Archbishop Naumann as the Bishops Pro-Life Chair.

Episode # 5597 – The Two Tony’s On Good Friday 2021

TGIF everyone and it’s Good Friday today as we approach Easter this weekend.  Before Tony arrives, Father Anthony reads for us from the book of the Prophet Isaiah.  When Tony arrives and after the prayer and first break the Two Tony’s reflect on Good Friday, talking about it’s importance, not only in the Holy Triduum, but also other meanings and feelings it brings to us, as well as bringing us closer to God.  It also reminds us of our humanity and our sins, with seeking Gods mercy and forgiveness and the acknowledgement of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.   From all of us at Winds of Change, Happy Easter everyone.

As Holy Week continues, the Two Tony’s are here and continue looking at various aspects of it.  In keeping with the theme of prayer on Thursdays, they focus on Judas Iscariot and the betrayal of Christ and leading to the mystery of our salvation.  This brings us closer to God and to feel His love and to know He is there with us.  Being in Holy Week, the Two Tony’s talk about what happens during these three Holy days, as well as why Holy Thursday is important.

It's the start of the Holy Triduum today and Father Koys is with us, via a new way of broadcasting using the service: Cleanfeed and works out very well.  Since the Holy Triduum begins today, Father Koys looks at the works of Cardinal John Henry Newman and the suffering and the ways of the soul.  He also expresses the need for Mental Prayer, how it's something we all need in spiritual direction in our lives and life in general.

Holy Week Continues and Father Anthony is joined by Producer Nick for a bit, since Tony was on his way and stuck in Chicago traffic.  They discuss how many funerals are going on this week and when Tony arrives, the Two Tony’s continue on that subject and from this, it brings up the idea of our own mortality and also brings to mind our relationship with God and His meanings for us.  From this, it brings to mind how God works through the evil, sad, and everything negative and He is always there with us and to help and guide us.  This also shows how much has changed, not just because of the Pandemic, but from other factors in life.

Episode # 5592 - History Of Saint Stanislaus Kostka And Hope On The Horizon

Due to Father Anthony returning from Rochester, but he is doing good and okay and well, but he has much work to do, this is a re-air from March 12th.  Thank you.

TGIF loyal listeners and today is vey special, for as Father Anthony “flies in” once again, he and the staff just finished putting up a sign talking about the school and it gives a good feeling.  So far it’s been a busy day and Father Anthony is anxious and excited about his meeting with the Bishops later on this afternoon.  On a different note, the Two Tony’s discuss the actual Saint Stanislaus Kostka and Father Anthony thinks and talks about his faith and his virtues, and the courage Saint Stanislaus had in his time.  As the discussion continues, the Two Tony’s express that despite the pandemic still continues and so much political and social unrest, they remind us that there is hope on the horizon and that every age has its battles, but good will emerge triumphant.

Once again, on Thursday’s during the Season Of Lent, the Two Tony’s continue their discussion on prayer and its importance.  Today, they examine prayer through our Faith in God once again.  This brings to mind being close to God and how close we are to Him at times in our lives and how we act with Him and in our lives every day, relating to the disorder around the world.  This also brings up the anger of Jesus with how people break the Ten Commandments for example or other ways.  Another area is to look at the drama of prayer.
