He points out the need for trustworthy news as a result of the effect of AI. After recapping his sermon from last Sunday, he then focuses on the Catechist and Evangelization as he connects it to a book he is reading by Sister Mary Fox on following the pedagogy of God. He discuss how to decide the best way to catechist and evangelize.

Father Anthony with Tony, and Cristina gather to discuss the goings on, and people in the Parish. Father and Tony and Cristina catch up after having a week off. They chat about Lollapalooza taking place this past weekend in Chicago and that leads to cultural chats and how people dress these days. Father detours and chats about his “uniform” and being seen out of uniform when he ran errands, of course expecting to see no one in such a large city. Father asks the group about their “first memories” and they briefly chat about first memories. Yesterday was the Feast day of St. Vianney and Father reads and unpacks the reading from Sunday and relates it to the writings of Tolkien.

Lauretta hosts the show today. After recapping the current situation regarding Gaza and Israel and the food shortages and starvation that is occurring in Gaza, she welcomes Mary FioRito and they discuss the Jubilee of Youth gathering that took place on August 2nd 2025 in Rome. They chat regarding the events that took place and how Pope Leo engaged with and encouraged the youth present. They also mention the impact of Pope Frances on the Youth and the youth’s perception that they felt Frances’ presence there with them. They end the show offering suggestions for the youth and others; both to get involved and to encourage the young people to grow in their faith and to develop a relationship with Jesus.

He connects to his last episode regarding the concept of Suzerainty. He chats about current going-ons with religious freedoms being restored in the workplace and elaborates regarding the relationship between church and state. He also shares regarding a blessing he gave a young girl a few months ago with the picture of Fr. Tolton and provides an update on her wellbeing.
Suzerainty: political term that refers to a relationship where a powerful state has control over the foreign policy and economic relations of a weaker state (vassal), while allowing the vassal some degree of internal autonomy.

TGIF! Father Anthony with Tony, and Cristina gather to discuss the goings on, and people in the Parish. Today is the Feast Day of St. James the Great. After a brief discussion on a couple of the saints and Jesus’ Inner Circle, Father leads us in Prayer. After prayer Father briefly talks about St. Sharbel; his history and life until his passing at 70* years of age. Later he speaks regarding the upcoming sacred scripture and the liturgy, highlighting that as Christians we must emulate Jesus and draw close to Him as the only way to God is through His son. He discusses prayer and how we should pray and pray regularly to draw close to God.
*Correction: St Sharbel died at 70 years of age not 19 as previously stated.

Father Anthony with Tony, and Cristina gather to discuss the goings on, and people in the Parish. Father mentions the death by suicide of a famous chef and the group chats about celebrities that have recently died by suicide and take note that they seem to have it all, money, success, jet set lives yet clearly something is missing. Father reiterates our need to focus on God to build our lives centered on Him as the world will deceive you and offer you a fleeting life. After Father prays, he turns his focus to St. Bridget of Sweden whose feast day was yesterday. (today was feast day of St. Sharbel). He discusses the history of St. Bridget; her life, her acts, her impact and legacy. Father shares that we need to be honest and speak of the Cross were required to carry as it is a disservice to deny the reality and the challenges that are daily life.
