Chesterton’s works, this time the writings from his book: The Catholic Church On Conversion. This looks at Catholicism as a novelty, that is for those Catholics who view Catholicism as something new and its effect on people. Father Koys also shares the latest in the Covid-19 developments on the latest treatments, if not vaccines, that are being used to fight the virus, in particular bamlanivimab.

First, the discuss how Pope Francis has declared this year the year of Saint Joseph. Also, they discuss what has been happening in the Pro-Life area. Another spot is talking about the recent letter submitted by Salvatore Joseph Cordileone, the Archbishop of San Francisco and the responses it has gotten on social media sights. For the second half of the show, the ladies welcome Dan Herbert, a former police officer and now a current defense attorney who talks about Bank the Blue, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting police offices in Chicago and Cook County, offering them programs outside their departments that will address mental health issues and help rebuild relationships with the communities they serve. Since May and Summer is coming up, the Two Tony’s discuss how celebrations are expected or hopefully expected as more and more people get vaccinated and the pandemic starts to slow down. After the prayer, the discussion focuses on continuing on life and death this time, sharing the reality we live in and face every day of our lives. This also brings up that within the exile (the pandemic), we still have God’s love and help in these times and we have to awaken to see it more clearly.

First off, they discuss how their Easters were, such as the masses held and what they did to celebrate Easter. The topic of discussion is the Novena of the Devin Mercy that was expressed to be prayed by Jesus himself and explain the history behind that, as well as the importance of it, especially during this time. They also point out how it’s necessary for everyone in this years Easter Season and how important it is now, with the world in the state that it’s in and when we seek the Lord’s forgiveness and mercy for our sins. Since it’s Easter Thursday, the Seventh Day in this, Father Anthony talks about the specifics not only on this day, but the Octave’s other days too.

Not only does it bring up a good discussion of the resurrection you could say, but also about comic books and superheroes. This raises the question: Is the Church at Peace and how long is that peace? The Two Tony’s try to provide an answer for you loyal listeners.

TGIF once again loyal listeners and after the opening prayer, the Two Tony’s discuss what has been going on with the children/students at Saint Stanislaus Kostka School, in particular after the children’s mass. Another aspect they discuss is how many women are wearing veils nowadays and what it means and shows in terms of stepping out of the world into the sacred space in the world. The Two Tony’s reflect on how things have changed in terms of how everyone dresses for mass and how very few do it nowadays. After the first break, Father Anthony reads for us a letter from someone who shares their feelings on recent tragic and terrible things affecting the world, not just the Pandemic, but also the verdict from the George Floyd Murder Trial and what came before the trial, such as the riots and looting.
