Episode # 5629 – Waking Up To What’s Around Us

Tuesday with the Two Tony’s and they’re excited because we are in the period of time between the Ascension and Pentecost.  The Two Tony’s share the importance of those days, as well as all that happens or happened during that time, sharing many historical and important facts surrounding these 9 days.  From this, it brings to mind how we depend on God and His help, as well as our relationship with Him and that He is telling us to “wake up” with what is happening around us.  One more thing, with “waking up” to things, remember, God is always there to help us in our down and dark times.

Episode # 5627 – The Two Tony’s On Behaviors Of People And Our Faith

TGIF everyone and Father Anthony has come from a funeral this morning and shares many fond memories about the person.  Once Tony arrives, after having coffee hit his car on the way to the show, the Two Tony’s share more thoughts on several topics, including continuing to wear masks even though many are being vaccinated and the way some people might be thinking in this day and age.  From all this, the discussion points out again our relationship with God and how we need His help and forgiveness of our sins.

The Two Tony’s are back with us today and they find it hard to believe that we’re almost in the middle of the month of May.  After the opening prayer, they discuss how Mother’s Day went for them and the Sunday Mass on Mother’s Day and the Gospel Readings and the message they point out.  Next, Father Anthony discusses the upcoming Feast Day of the Ascension and the recent busy schedule he had after his recent trip to Rochester.  He also asks Tony a question, as well as Producer Nick: “Have you ever felt strange or alone?”  He also asks Tony, and you loyal listeners, about the riddle of our faith and how you feel on that.

TGIF with the Two Tony’s on this Octave of Easter.  Today, they continue their examination of the Octave and how it’s a collective way for all to seek the Lord and Father’s forgiveness of sins and to guide us in our lives.  They also discuss the preparations for the Divine Mercy Sunday with lots to do and expect and to experience the feeling of set free, that is free of our sins and the feeling of being redeemed by God and how Gods love will help us in and with our troubles, problems, and stress.  Father Anthony also shares the Gospel Reading he presented this morning for the Children’s Mass.

Chesterton’s works, this time the writings from his book: The Catholic Church On Conversion.  This looks at Catholicism as a novelty, that is for those Catholics who view Catholicism as something new and its effect on people.  Father Koys also shares the latest in the Covid-19 developments on the latest treatments, if not vaccines, that are being used to fight the virus, in particular bamlanivimab.
