The quandary being: listening to the positive and optimistic outlook of the prophet Isaiah with the current state of our world and all the bad news. Father Koys addresses the virtue of Hope in comparison to Optimism. Father talks about coming into the third week of advent with the lighting of the pink candle leading to rejoicing but does caution us to recall that Advent is a season of penance and laments his believe that too many Catholic forget this aspect of Advent.
