Father Anthony with Tony, and Cristina gather to discuss the goings on, and people in the Parish. Father references the Gospel of Matthew 23:9 where Jesus instructs us to call no man on earth Father. Father asks the question “how would we address this if someone asks why we call our Father (Dad) or our priest “Father”. They then discuss and unpack this together, concluding that our Holy Father is the Centrality of our Lives and as such is our Father. They recognize St. Mother Theresa of Calcutta, today’s saint. After prayer, Father talks about the different Rites in the Catholic Church. Then ends todays talk by sharing the accomplishments and words of St. Gregory the Great who’s feast day was September 3.

She shares the history of the connection of Father Pio to the Ukrainian Church. Father Pio is credited with thousands of miracles. Welcome to a Brain Wrinkling Wednesday with Fr. Tom Koys. Today Father Koys intends to examine the origins of work while examining the impact of AI. Father considers all the work that exist and contemplates whether Jesus purposely left this work to be done. Given that He could have resolved everything that was needed at creation if he chose to do so. Father considers AI and the impact it will have around the world, specifically the jobs that have and can be lost as a result.

The group picks up the discussion from yesterday as Father shares details of the school’s first mass that took place this morning. Father shares the events that occurred and comments on the beauty of the mass and his reminder to the students as to what mass is all about. They continue sharing in their discussion, emphasizing how the world seems to be in “disorder” recognizing that we are all moving forward to an end that we all are aware of, hoping that we could make better choices and focus on God rather than self. The trio keeps coming back to the realization that the world needs God.

The group discusses this tragedy as it does hit too close to home for comfort…As our school gets ready for our First Mass. The trio keeps coming back to the realization that the world needs God.
