It’s Monday and Mary and Lauretta are back with us, and they are very excited for October being Respect Life Month and with much going on with that in mind.  Joining the ladies today, is Ken Oliver, the Executive Director of the Chicago Bible Society, to discuss the Chicago Bible Society itself in terms of its work and mission.  The three also discuss the upcoming fundraiser the Chicago Bible Society has coming up within the next few days. Another aspect examined is those that have benefitted from the Chicago Bible Society’s work.  Towards the end of the show, Lauretta (since Mary has to be away for several business matters) asks Ken to share more stories about himself and his work at the Chicago Bible Society.  For more information, visit:

Episode # 5736 – The Feast Day Of Saint Teresa Of Jesus

TGIF everyone.  Today being the Feast Day of Saint Teresa of Jesus, the Two Tony’s explain this Feast Day and its importance, not just in history, but also within the church itself.  This in turn, brings to mind people Father Anthony raises up the question regarding how we get through things, such as getting through the Pandemic.  With this Feast Day in mind, Father Anthony brings to mind the 10 lessons brought up with this day and summarize what the lessons are briefly.

Episode # 5735 – Results Of The Our Lady’s Triangle Procession

The Two Tony’s are here and Father Anthony is excited to discuss the wonderful result of the Our Lady’s Triangle Procession that was conducted and occurred yesterday.  He points out many of the people who arrived, as well as its purpose and the reason for the procession, one to pray for peace in the city of Chicago.  After that discussion, they bring to mind the struggles the church is and has been going through, not just in the present, but in the past and how in the darkness and with the evil, good and light will prevail.

Episode # 5736 – Father Koys On Those Who Ignore Information On Vaccines

Father Koys is here, literally in the studio today, as he had internet problems with what he’s been doing broadcasting with Cleanfeed.  Today, after referencing the Matrix again, as he often does, in relation to believing and faith, as well as to ponder the question, what is that person doing?  On a different note, Father Koys examines more on those who choose to ignore the science and facts regarding the Covid-19 vaccines and to concentrate on God, in terms of on Boarder and Reason with this in mind.  This also raises up the concept of sin and sinners in the world and going back or coming to church.  Once again, he brings to mind the works of G.K. Episode # 5735 – The Two Tony’s Prepare For Our Lady’s Triangle

Episode # 5734 – Columbus Day 2021

Episode # 5733 – Offering And Sacrifice To God

TGIF with the Two Tony’s loyal listeners.  After the opening prayer, they continue to focus on the signs of the times today.  In particular, they talk once again about the differences between the generations and how everyone learns things differently and the concept/ideal of faith had different views.  This once again brings to mind the idea of sacrifice and that we give ourselves over to Jesus and God, in order to not only receive Holy Communion, but also to be closer to God and Jesus and allow them to help us in life and guide us along the way.

A change of pace at the start of the show, as Producer Nick fills in with Tony and as Tony says, “when Father’s away, the kids will play” LOL, and they start off talking about how Fall and October seems to have arrived fast, raising how time moves quick.  When Father Anthony comes down and after the opening prayer, the Two Tony’s discuss the challenges of the world and that the church faces today as well.  Father Anthony talks about that in terms of some of the books he’s read recently and how even with all the problems, challenges, and the Spiritual Battle Father Anthony mentions a lot, the church prevails.  On a different subject, in order to focus with all the turmoil mentioned, today is the Feast Day of Our Lady of the Rosary and the Two Tony’s discuss the history surrounding this particular Feast Day.    

Episode # 5731 - Father Koys On The Identity Of The Church

Father Koys is here loyal listeners, ready to wrinkle your brains with thoughtful and insightful topics.  Today, his focus is on the identity of the church in a Catholic sense and distinguishing it from the Protestant view.  To help on this, he turns once again to the works of G.K. Chesterton, whom he has examined and quoted many times on many shows, to look at this further and in other areas, such as with politics and politicians and the fallacies of the church.   

Episode # 5730 – The Two Tony’s On The Saints In October

Tuesday and the Two Tony’s are here and after the opening prayer, they discuss the feeling of being disturbed and you might not know why.  This raised the idea of the hesitation people have today and the uneasy feeling about offending people or doing something that might offend someone.  This brings to mind that we have to redefine ourselves, as we are all citizens of not just nations, but the entire world and that we have the capacity for both good and evil, but with God’s help, good will come through.  With the month of October here, the Two Tony’s discuss some if not all of the Saints that this month celebrates and commemorates and how we can look to them in the times we’re in.
