It’s the Feast Day of Saint Lucy and Mary and Lauretta are here and they are very excited. Not just for the Feast Day of Saint Lucy, but the official start of the Christmas Season in other countries and today they are privileged to have two guests on the show. First up, we have Daniela Hughes, a corporate real estate agent and friend of Lauretta. Daniela discusses her work as a businesswoman and involved with Glow International, where women get together in groups and pray for their families, communities, and other important things in their lives, reminding us of the power and feeling of God. For the second guest, we have Dr. Mary Keen, a woman with a wealth of knowledge in the world of medicine and rehabilitation and author of a recent article on the pressure felt by families who have children with disabilities. TGIF loyal listeners and it’s been a full Friday morning for Father Anthony, with much going on at masses this morning. He is very proud of the children who came in yesterday and during the mass, the cast of the Christmas Carol play the students of Saint Stanislaus Kostka School will be performing tonight and this weekend. With so much going on during this time of year, Father Anthony shares much on many readings and days that have passed and that are coming up this year. In particular, he reflects on and shares info on the upcoming Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe that is this weekend and on the Feast Day of the Immaculate Conception that was on Wednesday this week.

Today, Father Anthony is joined by several students from Saint Stanislaus Kostka School and they’re very excited to be on the show with their teacher Mrs. Riley. With the children on, Father Anthony asks them several things, especially on Christmas and the Christmas Season. The students also discuss their upcoming play, which will be performed this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, they are getting ready to perform this year and discuss the characters they play and how excited they are. They also share their talents on the show by singing some of the songs and dialogue from the play and what they enjoy at school too. The Two Tony’s return after last week and they are freezing, but Producer Nick puts the heat on, as well as they point out the Saint Stanislaus School kids will be in Thursday too, with the third week of Advent arriving and how time is moving very quick. This allows them to move towards talking about confession and communion, in terms of the differences in generations again. With Advent upon us, the Two Tony’s stress its importance more and why it is necessary withing the Christmas Season. Turning to a more serious subject, they also reflect on all the tragedies that have fallen in different states regarding violence and shootings, stressing the importance of family and faith.

Mary and Lauretta return to us, with Mary having many adventures with helping and serving the Pro-Life Community in the last few weeks. Mary shares what she has been doing and being involved with recently. It’s also Saint Nicholas Day, so the ladies wish everyone, especially Producer Nick, a very happy Saint Nicholas Day. Lauretta also reflects on what happened in Mary’s absence on the show, as well as al the violence that has been happening, describing how many places that were safe, seemingly are not now. Mainly, Mary and Lauretta share their opinions and feelings on two particular topics: 1-the oral arguments made in the Dobbs v. Jackson case and 2-fetal viability. Today, Dave wants to talk about fear and how fear is very big around the world, not just with the Covid-19 Pandemic and the rise of the Delta Variant form of the virus and how that fear has changed so much. One of the biggest things that fear has changed is how mass is conducted these days, with people so used to sitting at home, watching mass on their computers instead of going to mass in church. Father Koys is here and after some tech issues, he's ready to tackle the issues of the day and week. His focus this time, is on various things, but mostly around marriage and the family. Along those lines, he examines various cases in the United States regarding abortion and how several states are trying to make it legal or illegal. He also looks at recent YouTube videos and clips that have a woman who discusses that she rejected Catholicism and why, which in turn comes back to the family and marriage aspect.

It’s Tuesday and the return of the Two Tony’s, as Father Anthony was in Rochester last week and doing good and Tony returns when he does. Today, they share their thoughts on how seriously we take in the search for God who has already found us, clearly indicated by readings Father Anthony reflects on. This raises the question and the choice we have with God, are you with Him or against Him? This brings to mind the tribulation and the distress, as we sometimes lose the faith in Gods help, but to remember our faith in God will help us and make things right with Him.
