As Holy Week continues this week on this Wednesday, Father Koys is sitting in for Father Anthony Bush again today and opens the show with saying that Holy Week is feeling very good, as well as hoping all are getting to the celebrations this week and remarks that this week feels like getting ready for a trip in a way too. He officially starts off with something John Paul the Second said, but points out it could be a bit scary in terms of the Triduum, in some ways scared to enter the mystery which is: something John Paul The Second wrote about, in two parts, one when as a Cardinal and the other as The Pope. He also talks about the stage production, Jesus Christ Superstar and shares it's influence on not only Father Thomas Koys, but everyone in terms of it's spirituality and complexity. With what John Paul wrote, everyone shares their feelings, which feel a bit scary in terms of what he wrote about what we as people are facing or going through, possibly warning us of things to come or to face. Father Koys also uses this in terms of what we as people bring to mass/the mass, as well as with Easter and Christ dying and raised from the dead. After the second break, Father Koys reads the second part of what he introduced when he was Pope, in dealing with trials we have to and must face in our lives. However, with all this in mind, as Father Anthony pointed out in the beginning of the show, he talks about the musical play Jesus Christ Superstar and it's influence on our culture and everyone, and to help Father Koys shares some of the songs from the play, while everyone shares how they feel about what is sung in the songs and the drama in it as well.
